Fabian Serrato, Esq.
Founder & President
Born and raised in Southern California, Mr. Serrato found Serrato Law Firm, PC in Santa Ana, California shortly after graduating from the prestigious UCLA, School of Law as a way to serve his community.
For over 20 years now, Mr. Serrato has served the city of Santa Ana providing legal representation in immigration, criminal, and personal injury matters.
In his nearly 20 years of practice, Mr. Serrato has established himself as one of the best litigators in the field. He has successfully helped thousands of immigrants obtain lawful status in the United States, defending immigrants before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
Mr. Serrato has represented individuals in criminal proceedings to ensure that minor offences do not result in serious immigration consequences and ensuring that everyone's rights are protected in court.
He’s also helped clients recover millions in damages in personal injury claims. He’s ensure that immigrants know that they can pursue recovery after they’ve been hurt in an accident regardless of their immigration status.
Through his success, he has won numerous professional accolades for his practice, and won precedent setting cases before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
In his spare time, Fabian Serrato enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, as well cheering on his teams in blue. Go Bruins! Let’s Go Dodgers!

Fernando Magdaleno, Esq.
Senior Associate Attorney
An Anaheim native, Attorney Fernando Magdaleno pursued the legal field as a means to serve his community.
Fernando Magdaleno began his career, working as a Fellow at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County where he assisted clients in landlord tenant disputes, assisted with limited civil actions, and helped lead bankruptcy and immigration clinics for the community.
He continued his spirit of service joining Serrato Law Firm, PC in 2018 to help the large immigrant community in Orange County.
Mr. Magdaleno has successfully defended immigrants in immigration proceedings in Orange County, and throughout Southern California. He has successfully litigated matters before the Santa Ana Immigration Court, Los Angeles Immigration Court, Van Nuys Immigration Court, and before the Board of Immigration Apeals.
Outside of the office, Mr. Magdaleno helps raise his four children, teaching them the value of service to one’s community, and to always root for the Dodgers.

Anabel Sanchez Esq.
Senior Associate Attorney
Ms. Sanchez grew up in Los Angeles and was the first in her family to attend college. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Upon graduation she began working for a homeless shelter located in skid row called Union Rescue Mission. Since her employment at the Union Rescue Mission, she has focused her career towards assisting underprivileged communities and vulnerable populations.
Ms. Sanchez holds a law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and was admitted to practice law in 2021. Ms. Sanchez leads our Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) docket that focuses on immigration relief for undocumented youth.
In 2025, Ms. Sanchez was nominated as the first Latina Foundation President for the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA). The WLALA Foundation supports the next generation of female attorneys and is committed to improving the status of women in the legal profession by funding scholarships, fellowships, and supporting local community programs.
Ms. Sanchez was the recipient of the 2024 Pro Bono Volunteer of the Year Award from the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law. This award honors a volunteer lawyer who has provided substantial services on cases providing relief to clients who have greatly benefitted from in-court representation. Ms. Sanchez continues to collaborate with the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law as a pro bono attorney representing victims of domestic violence.

David Fuentes Urias, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Mr. Fuentes Urias is a native of Santa Ana, California, where he currently lives and works.
He attended California State University, Fullerton for undergraduate, where he majored in Political Science. His interest in law began during this time, when he was an intern at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office in Santa Ana, as well as a member of the California State University Fullerton 2018-19 Moot Court team.
He attended University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings) from 2021-2024 for law school, where he was the 2022-23 Director of Advocacy and Pro-Bono Chair for the UC Law San Francisco, Students for Immigrants’ Rights organization.
Mr. Fuentes Urias has always been passionate about making the law accessible to those who are underrepresented and underserved in the legal profession. As a person with a physical disability who grew up as part of the Latino community in Santa Ana, he has experienced firsthand how access to legal representation can change lives. His work reflects these beliefs, having worked at the Orange County Public Defender’s office assisting indigent clients with their criminal cases, as well as summering at two disability rights nonprofits in Northern California, Disability Rights California and Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF).
